Grateful Harvest

Mother Earth is depicted showing what the water has to offer for harvest. It is a salmon which is an important staple to the indigenous people and mankind. And she is standing on the earth and is hoping mankind respects the delicate balance of nature!

Artist's Biography

Denis works predominantly in stone and bronze. BFA graduate of David Thompson University Centre and an instructor at Kootenay Studio of the Arts at Selkirk College in Nelson. The “Passenger” at the White Rock Museum was commissioned by the City of White Rock.
