P’QUALS PROMENADE SCULPTURES COMPETITION

In its inaugural year, White Rock Events Society’s P’Quals
Promenade Sculptures Competition will present a year-long juried outdoor exhibition of 10 sculptures by B.C. artists – on display at the waterfront adjacent to the White Rock Museum and Archives (14970 Marine Dr.) – from Sept. 14, 2023 to Aug. 24, 2024.

Sculptures – in a broad range of materials, including stone, bronze and steel – can include either abstract or representational work.
Sanctioned by the City of White Rock, the event encourages the general public to vote for their favourite work, with the winning artist
receiving not only the People’s Choice Award, but also $15,000 in cash.

Special recognition prizes, contributed by event sponsors, will also be awarded to artists.
